My first meeting with Mark was like opening a new jigsaw puzzle! As a nutritionist with a Masters in Health, working with a Type 1 diabetic is definitely within my scope, however Mark had a few mysteries that required a next level custom plan for sure!
The biggest being that despite working with other professionals, he had never found a meal plan that allowed him to feel full. He was incredibly active and doing all of it feeling constantly hungry. No one had any suggestions for him other than to eat more nuts and seeds!
I’m so excited to report that as of this posting Mark has reached his goal of biking up Kelso, is up 10lbs and his blood sugars are excellent. Way to go Mark for your commitment to your health and keeping active fuelled like a rockstar!
