Before coming to LS Fitness, I was really out of shape, had lots of aches and pains and general stiffness and really did not exercise much at all…really a bit of a couch potato.
I had a long history of joining a gym with great intentions and then not going regularly or at all.
I did figure out after coming to LSF that was probably because there is no real encouragement or relationships at other gyms in their general memberships and I really need that to stay motivated to go.
I was very fortunate to have “won” the scholarship that Ben offered in early 2018, as I do not have health benefits to cover the membership and really do not have the budget to come for semi-private sessions.
Once I got started, I was excited to see how the coaching could help me to improve my strength and flexibility, but honestly, I did not have a plan to continue after the scholarship ended.
I have now finished the 6 month scholarship, and while I did not meet all my goals, I am much stronger, more flexible and have come to realize that as I age, it is really imperative for me to continue to be active and do regular exercise/weight resistance training.
So I have found a plan that works for my budget and lifestyle at LSF and will continue to be part of the “family”. I really appreciate all the encouragement and support that my coaches (Pam & Andrew) have given me as well as Ben, Sarah and Kat in the day to day support.
Even other members that exercise regularly together have been supportive.
LSF really is like family, they honestly care about their members!
