“I really enjoy the environment at Lean Strong Fitness, it is a really welcoming community to be apart of.
Before coming to Lean Strong Fitness I attended the gym regularly but never really felt comfortable doing weights on my own. I did a few rounds with personal trainers but it never transferred to my workouts alone. I usually talk myself out of doing extra reps or doing more weight.
That is why I really love the accountability piece to LSF. The coaches/staff really keep you accountable to your goals. The encourage you to get that extra rep or increase the weight when you feel like you can’t.
I have worked really hard on building up my core strength here at LSF which has helped me in my day to day life. I have noticed a huge improvement in my flexibility and strength. Before I would get really stiff if I was not working out or doing activity after/before work because I mainly sit at my job. But now I have noticed I don’t get as stiff during my work weeks.
The biggest accomplishment that I made this far was dead lifting 175lbs, which I had never ever done before and wouldn’t have been able to do it without LSF.
I would say to someone who is on the fence about joining is LSF is a good, small community that supports you. I find the semi-private training here really effective, and having a coach that sets you up with exercises to fit your needs has really helped me learn and understand weight lifting.
