“Where should I start with strength training?”
This is the question that came up to me while I was chatting with some friends.
There is an overwhelming amount of information out there and it’s easy to get frustrated, enter the dark rabbit hole of paralysis by analysis, and end up doing nothing because it’s too confusing.
Paralysis by analysis is when we get too deep into something, get overwhelmed, and we don’t know where to start. Instead of taking action, we spend countless hours procrastinating by mulling over the “best” decision, when we would have been far better off just getting started and tweaking our approach as we go.
I personally struggle with this and know how challenging it can be, especially when it comes to the realm of our health and fitness.
In today’s video, I’ve got 4 strength training tips for you if you’re new to strength training (or if you haven’t strength trained consistently in a while) so you can get better results in less time, stop paralysis in analysis in its tracks, and get started (or restarted).
