Have you ever asked yourself “what should I be eating and how do I adjust it?”
Or better yet, googled “best nutrition plan for ______”
Nutrition is the Wild, Wild West.
But instead of Will Smith fighting a giant robot spider (for my movie nerds out there who remember the 1999 not-so-good classic), it’s you facing off against a sea of misinformation.
Nobody agrees on almost anything.
Most articles are written to drive sales to a supplement or MLM company.
And the research is usually a decade behind what’s trending so it’s difficult at best to decipher what’s useful and what’s not.
My recommendation is to look for the overlap between different approaches when you’re trying to sort out what’s best for you.
Yes, you will be immediately drawn to the clickbait title of “try this one thing and you’ll feel better immediately”, and for an instant you may believe it.
But deep down you know there is no one thing to solve anything, and aside from a catchy headline that “one thing” doesn’t make any approach special.
The commonality between all approaches is tried, tested and true, and where the magic – and your ensuing benefit – happens.
Always look for the overlap.
In today’s quick video, I’ll break down some of the key areas of overlap you should look for, as well as helping you think through and better evaluate what you come across in the wild, wild west.
Enjoy,
Ben
