We had a great question as a follow-up from the last video regarding hidden carbs in vegetables, so wanted to shine a bit of light on that.

Would you be able to compile a list of some of the things that are hidden carbs?

Just so we’re on the same page, vegetables are good for you. Period. Vitamins, minerals, nutrients, fibre – human beings are complex and we need more than just calories to survive and thrive! And if you are eating a fair amount of veggies, you fall into the camp of “eating clean but not losing any fat”, or you eat a plant-based diet so are getting proportionately more vegetables, it’s important to know what you are actually consuming. Check out today’s video below for some guidelines on which vegetables have the most and least carbohydrates, how net carbs and fibre fit in, and some resources to help you on your journey. Enjoy!
